Journey Street food were absolutely amazing caterers for our wedding last Saturday. Our guests absolutely loved the food, as did we and they are super easy to deal with. Ruby communicated so well by email and was very professional and knowledgeable, helping us to get our selection and servings just right. They are also just thoroughly nice people. Highly recommended.

We had Journey Street Food cater our wedding. Ruby and Channa had excellent communication from the start. We enjoyed our tasting, which helped us choose what menu we would have for our banquet style reception for around 80 people. We chose the Mediterranean menu and even after over 2 months have passed, our guests continue to compliment the food. The roving canapés also were an excellent way to keep people fed and happy between the ceremony and reception. Ruby, Channa, and the team did an incredible job of catering for our recent wedding. They created a menu that was all vegan and gluten free, which meant all our guests could enjoy all the food without worry! Even the "carnivores" couldn't complain!

They took over the kitchen to prep and serve the food but you wouldn’t have known they were there blending in with guests. The finger food was absolutely amazing! Ruby was an absolute delight to deal with. Ruby catered for my wedding in November 2020. She had such close attention to detail and did everything I asked for and more. I had my wedding in Maleny Botanic Gardens and she brought a beautiful tent and catered for everything in her tent. We had a sit down meal for 25 people and all my guests were raving about the food. The Rice paper rolls were so pretty and tasted delicious. We also had satay chicken skewers and calamari. Everything was so delicious! I couldn’t fault anything and I really look forward to finding another opportunity for Ruby to cater for me again.

Oh My Gosh ! Ruby and her team at Journey Street Foods went above and beyond firstly with excellent communication to ensure we had all the information about menu, pricing, what we should need to order etc. As well as bringing us a tasting plate to try everything before booking them for our backyard wedding. Their menu suited our Balinese themed wedding beautifully, right down to the way everything was served in little bamboo boats with banana leaves and edible flowers for decoration. Our guests are still raving about the quality and flavours of all the menu items as well as how much there was to eat ! That's what you want from a Caterer - is to ensure the guests are happy. The beautiful staff that were serving were also incredibly polite and obliging to our guests and ensured the food was equally served amongst them all as we did a cocktail style dinner. This team set up and packed down in their space at our house very independently and cleaned up beautifully after as well. If I could give 10 stars on this review I would. Thank you so much Ruby, Channa and team - you helped make our wedding day magical.

Best asian caterer so far! We just had our wedding last Saturday with hot finger foods, entree and mains served by Ruby and Channa. We always wanted our guests to enjoy authentic asian food but theres not much option in Brisbane. We have been looking around, After the tasting plate we had, we knew that they are the one and reserve them with deposits straight away.
The food were absolutely prepared with heart. The taste is authentic and amazing, presentation is gorgeous with fresh flowers !!, ingredients were fresh with homemade sambal! There's no second choice of caterer i would have gone if it wasn’t for Journey street food. Most importantly, we received numerous compliments from our guests how much they enjoy the food of the night. Even with covid we couldn't have a grazing table or waiter to walk around with canapes, but Ruby made everything easy with a nice decorated bamboo boat with one of each finger food in them ! Ruby, Channa & the whole team at Journey Street Food are fantastic! We had a 'DIY Wedding' on the Sunshine Coast, and their mobile kitchen was perfect. They were so easy to deal with from start to finish and accommodated all of our needs & wants. The hardest choice was picking which canapés to have, because they all sounded so amazing, but once we did, Ruby organised a lovely tasting plate for us to sample them. On the big day, they set up and packed down without anyone noticing. The food was absolutely DELISH, the presentation was beautiful and all of our guests raved about it. Crowd favourites were: satay chicken skewers, spring rolls, pork belly bites, salt & szechuan pepper calamari, prawn rice paper rolls, just to name a few.
